Is this program right for me?

The dream program is for individuals interested in educating on diversity to utilize the diversity to promote an equity approach to life.

Are you struggling to start the conversation on diversity, equity, and inclusion with your students? Is justice forming in your students’ hearts, you just need to means to bring it out out of them? Do your students have HUGE dreams and aspirations, but no framework for following through with them?

dream Program includes lessons such as :

  • Storytelling and Making - This storytelling and then storymaking activity brings out the big dreams within our students. Through this lesson, students will brainstorm and create stories that highlight their aspirations and goals.

  • Current Events and What to Do About Them - All too often the news sheds light on things that are not going the best. In this lesson, the focus will be on newspaper articles that highlight helpers. In turn, students will go through a scaffolded process to write a current event piece about helpers in their lives.

  • I Have a Dream - This lesson highlights dreams students are pursuing, physically, academically, socially, and spiritually. As an educator, you will assist your students in painting their vision by means of a visual means of representing their aspirations.
